Partnership At Work

The Regner Resource Day on August 17 was a day of connection and support. The West Bend School District ML (Multilingual) team worked hard to encourage families to attend. We remain their allies as they serve children and parents in our community with language and cultural challenges. Thank you for supporting them and helping multiple families with their initial school registration process. As the school year progresses, you will have more opportunities to welcome and network newcomer families.

Blue Lotus a Blast

With perfect weather and plenty of places to play newcomer families had a wonderful day relaxing at Blue Lotus Center. You supported families speaking six different languages other than English! These families cherish the opportunity to be outdoors and away from screens as part of their ongoing need to experience well-being following displacement and separation from extended family. Following the event two fathers sent personal thank you notes for the meaningful day. Gratitude is healing too!
